Fishing guides need a license in Arkansas. There are two kinds of fishing guide licenses: the Resident Fishing Guide License – or GLF, and the Nonresident Fishing Guide License – or GNF. Fishing guide licenses in Arkansas do not include fishing privileges.

Requirements for Resident and Nonresident Fishing Guide Licenses

  • Provide personal information including name, address, date of birth, and Social Security Number
  • Provide basic demographic information
  • Include your driver’s license number (optional)
  • Pay fees
